Non-standard bellows, also known as bellows compensator, expansion joints and expansion joints, which absorb the dimensional changes of pipes, conduits or containers caused by thermal expansion and contraction by using the effective expansion and contraction of bellows elastic parts. Compensation devices are compensation components. The compensator is composed of bellows elements, connecting pipes (pipe sections), conduits, external protection pipes, end plates and other related structural components. It is used to absorb axial, lateral, and angular displacements, absorb vibration, and reduce pipelines, equipment, and systems. The noise of thermal displacement and mechanical displacement. So, how to install non-standard bellows compensator, take a look at it!

The installation steps and methods of non-standard corrugated compensator are as follows:

1. First, measure the full length of the prepared bellows compensator (including the connecting flange), draw the side line of the compensator (to the end of the connecting flange) according to the length of the compensator, and draw the positioning center line for installing the compensator on the pipe.

2. Separate the pipeline through the pipeline and connect it after considering the length of the flange and the gasket.

3. Compensator connected to the welding interface: The connectors on both sides of the compensator should be aligned at the same time, spot welded at the same time, and use temporary supports and hangers to support the compensator for matching.

4. Connect the compensator of the flange joint: First, temporarily install the two flange gaskets on the compensator, support the compensator with a temporary bracket and a hanger, match, and perform spot welding to check its position.

The installation of non-standard corrugated compensator shall meet the following requirements:

1. Non-standard corrugated compensator must be coaxial with the pipeline.

2. The compensator with flow direction mark (arrow) cannot be installed in reverse.

3. Install bellows compensator. Non-standard corrugated compensator is usually installed later, whether it is welded with steel pipe or flange. That is to say, when installing the pipeline, instead of installing the corrugated pipe compensator first, the whole straight pipe needs to be directly used at the position where you want to install it. Install the guide bracket according to the design requirements and the requirements set by the compensator manufacturer on the bracket. Install the compensator near the compensator and the fixed bracket when the bracket meets the design requirements.
